Business law and commercial legal counsel
Jeppson Law
Project context
A trusted law firm needed a clearer route for business owners.
Jeppson Law serves businesses, property owners, professionals, and investors across California and Utah. The firm brings decades of experience across business law, property law, franchise law, employment matters, and civil litigation.
Studio FLACH was asked to present that experience through a more client-focused website. The work needed to make a wide service range easier to understand, give business owners clearer next steps, and create space for attorney context, industries, legal articles, and future offers.
The starting point
From a firm-led profile to a clearer business-facing direction.
The former website relied on long attorney biographies and practice-area sections. It established experience, but placed the firm before the business owner’s immediate question and offered fewer focused routes into a specific legal service.
The initial concept board used deep navy, clear serif type, a compact monogram, architectural imagery, and high-contrast page treatments. This direction gave the firm a more direct and current presence while retaining the authority and personal care described in the project brief.
Former website
The former site established credentials through attorney and practice-area content, with fewer direct paths for business owners.
Initial visual direction
Deep blue, editorial type, architectural references, and the JL monogram established a formal but more current direction.
Website structure
Organize a wide legal practice around decisions and risk.
The site was structured around the paths a business owner might take: reviewing the firm, scanning services, exploring an industry, reading a detailed service page, learning from an article, checking common questions, or contacting the team.
The Clean Legal Bill of Health audit provides a named first step. Service pages explain the available legal support, industry routes add context, and Insights gives practical questions a reusable publishing home. Attorney information and contact prompts remain available throughout the journey.
Selected views
Service choices, a detailed legal decision block, common questions, and Insights show the main visitor paths.
The final website
Professional weight, with a more direct first step.
Strong typography, restrained color, and editorial image treatments give the legal material a modern setting without losing the seriousness expected from a law firm. Clear headings and recurring page patterns make dense information easier to scan.
The completed page family covers the homepage, firm story, service overview, service details, industries, Insights, articles, FAQs, and contact. Responsive layouts carry the same message order and calls to action across laptop and phone screens.
Selected views
The complete homepage opening fold leads into legal services, Insights, contact, and the firm story.
Outcome and project scope
The website answers more questions before contact.
Visitors can identify the legal concern in front of them, find a relevant service or industry route, understand the firm’s experience, review its commercial approach, and decide whether to arrange an audit or contact the team.
The Webflow build gives Jeppson Law reusable service and article patterns, CMS-backed publishing, responsive page coverage, and a clearer technical base for maintenance and initial search setup.
